Hey Guys,
SO! here it is, I'm starting a new chapter in my life. I am Lucas and I'm pleased to meet you all, I love Jesus, I love life and I'm ready to start taking it by the horns and living the life more abundant that Christ promised. What's this blog all about? well I (just tonight) decided to set out some goals, goals to be completed in 6 months. One of those goals is to finish reading the Old Testament, "why?" you might ask? well that is because I am in my final year of my under grad in preparation for full-time pastoral ministry, and if I am going to do that I think I should have at least read all of that which I'm going to be preaching from and working with in the future. So here's the nitty gritty. I have 437 chapters left to go roughly, and I have 180 days to do it in (that's 6 months) that gives me an average of 3 chapters per day that I need to read. Another goal of mine is to journal more, and thats where YOU come in, I need to journal and I want to journal, some of my journal entries will have private components, and I'm sorry guys that stuff you can't read shhhhh. However! the stuff that isn't private? that's totally coming your way! Join me as I blog my way through the Old Testament, and we can go on this journey together!
